Our Story
Hilvon Solutions was founded to help small and mid-sized businesses understand, strengthen, and simplify the systems their operations depend on. Based in Lee's Summit, Missouri, we work with businesses across the Kansas City and St. Louis metros, plus remote clients nationwide.
The idea began with a painful realization: a close friend's small business — a well-run, multi-location operation — was shut down by a preventable ransomware attack. One bad email, no insurance, and no safeguards in place. That incident made something clear: small and mid-sized businesses weren't failing because they didn't care about security or efficiency. They were failing because no one had ever explained what they truly needed.
From years spent in cybersecurity investigations, governance, and technical education, the pattern became impossible to ignore. Small and mid-sized businesses were being held to enterprise-level expectations without enterprise-level support or guidance. Owners were left guessing, risks went unnoticed, and insurance claims were denied when help was needed most.
Over time, Hilvon grew to fill that gap.
Today, Hilvon Solutions helps small and mid-sized businesses find where their operations are bleeding time and money — whether that's manual busywork, bottlenecked workflows, or security gaps — and puts the right solutions in place. We translate complex technology decisions into simple, practical steps that make businesses run smoother, safer, and with more confidence.

For firms in regulated industries like law, healthcare, finance, and accounting, we also built hAIvin, a private AI workspace with encrypted chat, meetings, and transcription — with zero data retention.

From cybersecurity investigations to classroom teaching, Adam's career has always centered on one theme: making complicated things understandable. He's spent more than a decade working in the security world while also teaching people how technology actually works, and that mix is what shaped Hilvon Solutions.
As the founder of Hilvon, Adam works with small and mid-sized businesses that want straightforward guidance. He helps owners get a clear picture of how their systems function, where the weak points usually show up, and what changes will actually make a difference. His approach is practical by design, grounded in real investigations rather than theory.
Adam also spends a significant amount of time helping businesses adopt AI in ways that remove busywork and make everyday operations smoother. Whether it's automating simple workflows or introducing tools that lighten the load on overworked teams, his focus is on giving owners more breathing room and fewer technical headaches.
He's a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) who has led investigations, built internal programs, and taught security at both the college and high school levels. Outside of client work, Adam continues to teach, mentor, and create tools that make AI and cybersecurity more accessible for small and mid-sized businesses.
